Since it's Stephen Pearcy's 50th birthday today, I thought I'd post something that had to do with Ratt in celebration! Ratt is also currently on the road with Extreme & Swirl. I always thought that Ratt's "Invasion Of Your Privacy" was an excellent follow-up to their debut album, "Out of the Cellar".
So what's your favorite song off of "Invasion Of Your Privacy"? Although I really enjoy all the songs on the album, my vote goes to "Lay It Down"! Which might be my favorite Ratt song, period. It contains one of the best and most memorable riffs in 80's metal! So I'm gonna go with that one...what about you? What's your favorite song off of it (if you could only pick one, haha) and what do YOU think of the album in general?
Here's the track list;
01. You're In Love
02. Never Use Love
03. Lay It Down
04. Give It All
05. Closer To My Heart
06. Between The Eyes
07. What You Give Is What You Get
08. Got Me On The Line
09. You Should Know By Now
10. Dangerous But Worth The Risk
And here's a little bit more info on "Invasion Of Your Privacy", courtesy of www.bighairrules.com;
Invasion Of Your Privacy is Ratt's second full length album. Beau Hill, who produced their smash debut album, returned to helm production on this album. Greeted with positive reviews, Invasion of Your Privacy achieved multi-platinum status. This album contains the hit singles "Lay It Down", " You're in Love" and "What You Give Is What You Get". The woman on the cover is Playboy model Marianne Gravatte, who also made an appearance in the "Lay It Down" music video.
