MÖTLEY CRÜE Drummer Featured In 'Show Your Soft Side' Campaign

MÖTLEY CRÜE drummer Tommy Lee is featured in "Show Your Soft Side", a campaign developed to combat the alarming incidence of animal abuse in Baltimore, Maryland. Many of the more horrific cases have been perpetrated by teens, thus leading the Mayor’s Anti-Animal Abuse Advisory Commission to look for ways to change the mindset of young people who often view the maiming and torturing of defenseless dogs and cats as a sign of "toughness" or "manhood." The campaign puts forth a very different…

Great Memories and Other Stuff.....

Hi everyone, this is my first post. I signed up then vanished! However, I will try to visit more often. The music I was listening to just now, brings back some memories. Rock City, Nottingham, UK on a Friday night back around 1985-90, was all bands like Bon Jovi, Cinderella, Vixen, Kiss etc. Hair was long and the music awesome, I loved it all! I also play guitar as many of my Facebook and Twitter friends will know. My collection includes a pair of USA Standard Strats, one black with a Duncan…

Have Guitar...Will Shred....Not Exactly!

Okay, since my last post, I had recently bought my first guitar and amp at the age of 15...what a disaster that was! Now what? Well, play...of course! This was easier said than done. I had no idea what I was doing. No experience, lessons, or advice from anyone...we didn't have YouTube or anything like that back then! The only music in the house that my mom and dad kept around was Hall & Oats, Barbara Streisand, Neil Diamond, and the Beach Boys....none of this could satisfy my listening… Continue

The Start of it All

I already posted this in a discussion, but I figured I'd keep a record of everything here also.

True story....

My parents, even though I begged them constantly for an electric guitar, never thought it would serve any other purpose but to collect dust in my closet. It didn't matter what… Continue
