Brought up in the Heartland of Iowa. I started listening to music at age 4 or 5. I saw Kiss on tv and wanted to play music ever since. Around the age of 10 I got into bands like Quiet Riot, Bon Jovi, Van Halen, Ozzy Osbourne, Twisted Sister and the list goes on. I moved to the Brew City in the mid 80's. Around 1990 I took some lessons from a couple people. They taught me how to play Tesla, Skid Row and Motley Crue. Those were some of the bands that were popular at the time. I did my first performance at a wedding. It was okay I guess. We tried not to play anything too heavy. I still play almost everyday. My inspiration comes life experiences such as love, hate, relationships, world news and my heroes that have opened the door. Music has kept me alive all these years. I don't think I'd still be here if I didn't get to hear those songs that took me away from all the negative things in life.
