About Me:

I am a female, 48 year old widow who LOVES Guns N Roses! And Aerosmith!!! I dedicate this HMM page to Axl and GNR. I love the 80's rock and roll, also some 70's and 90's (grunge) and even some of today's stuff, though I'm really not very familiar with most of it. I look forward to making new friends here as well! I dedicate this Hair Metal Mansion page to my other favorite band and man, Guns N Roses and Axl Rose!!

Favorite Music:

Guns N Roses, Aerosmith, Whitesnake, Heart, Motley Crue, Poison, most any of the 70's - today rock and roll, with special emphasis on 70's and 80's. I love all kinds of music actually, but rock and roll is my favorite. I love Axl Rose and GNR, and of course, Steven Tyler and Aerosmith!

Favorite TV Shows:

The First 48, Snapped, Forensic Files, I Love Lucy, All in the Family, Criss Angel Mindfreak, Cold Case Files, Crime 360, wow, there are so many, too many to name!

American Beauty, Slingblade, Pretty Woman, again, there are so many, too many to name!

Best concerts/shows you've been to...

OMG! I once got to see my two favorite bands in the world perform together in 1988 here in Dallas....GNR & AEROSMITH! So far I've only had the pleasure of seeing GNR that one time. I plan to see them again as often as possible if I ever recover from my surgery so I can walk around alot again, and if ever they come to Dallas again! I have seen Aerosmith several times, all their shows are FABULOUS. Also some other unforgettable ones are: Robert Plant, Whitesnake, Van Halen (original members), Judas Priest, Scorpions, Pat Benatar (AWESOME live), Queensryche, Black Sabbath, Whitesnake, Motley Crue, the list could go on forever...Back in the late 70's - 80's, we had the Texas World Music Festival (aka Texas Jam) here every year at the Cotton Bowl. I went to most of them. THEY WERE GREAT. I was younger back then lol and could handle the summer heat, and could walk for miles and miles.. The "jams" always took place in July if I remember right. Those shows were fantastic, up to 15 bands at a time, one year the festival went on for 3 days. I saw some great bands doing memorable performances, such as Aerosmith, Boston, Tesla, Head East, Journey, Santana, Van Halen (who had just relased their first album back in their glory days), just a bunch of really great rock and roll in one place. It was great.
