Hair Metal Mansion

I would say my favorite is Almost Famous. I give honorable mentions to: Rockstar, Airheads, La Bamba, Talk To Me. There are several others i like but right now i am drawing a blank.

I like Rockstar a lot, but that has already been mentioned....

Do "documentaries" count? If so, then I would have to say; "Decline of the Western Civilization: The Metal Years" is one of my favorites as well.... I also have the Hollywood Rocks DVD, which is pretty cool too.

My personal fave is Detroit Rock City. Freakin hilarious!!! Close 2nd would be Airheads. I actually hated the Rockstar movie because I don't care for Jennifer Anniston and Mark Wahlberg. They looked more like "poseurs" than the real deal, but that's just my opinion... and what would I know, I only grew up with that music, LOL.

All great choices and no Andrew there are no limitations on what you chose.

I would like to ask what is the name of the latest one. I saw it within the last couple of months i think. This guy is in a band and is the drummer and gets kicked out because someone at the label they are getting ready to sign with has a nephew or something that wants to drum in a band. It is set in Cleveland i think. Then he starts drumming with his nephews band for a prom gig and goes apeshit and the singer wants nothing more to do with him. He winds up back in the band and they start taking off and wind up opening for his previous band. Can anybody help me out here with name?
