Rock & Roll Fantasy Camp Featuring JUDAS PRIEST @ The Whisky; 8/7/2016

Hair Metal Mansion correspondent JOE SCHAEFFER checks in with the following:

The Rock and Roll Fantasy Camp which took place over four days, took over the Whisky for their Camper Concert. Ten different groups of campers performed with their Rock Musician Counselors. 

 

The counselors that performed included Judas Priest members Rob Halford, Ian Hill, Scott Travis and Richie Faulkner, Rudy Sarzo (Quiet Riot, Whitesnake), Tracii Guns (Gunzo, LA Guns), Stu Hamm (Joe Satriani and Steve Vai), Phil X (Bon Jovi), Robert Sarzo (Hurricane), Gary Hoey (Gary Hoey Band), Matt Starr (Ace Frehley Band),  Frank DiMino (Angel) and  Vinny  Appice (Dio, Black Sabbath) . The camper groups each performed three songs with their counselors, including one with the members of Judas Priest.

 

During the event several items were auctioned, including signed guitars by Judas Priest and Tony Iommi. The money donated will go to Teen Cancer America a charity in which Roger Daltrey of The Who is involved with.
